Every certified Carolina Carports building starts with the leg configuration — the vertical framing that anchors the structure to the ground. The two most common configurations are the Ladder Leg and the Double Leg.

Ladder Leg construction uses a ladder-shaped truss that spans the full leg height, giving excellent load distribution and clean interior lines. It's the ideal choice for taller garages and RV covers where wind loads are a factor.

Double Leg construction runs two independent legs on either side of the sheeting, adding redundancy and additional load capacity. It's the go-to choice for high snow load areas and long clear-span roofs.
